Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

INSORA: Journal of Islamic Society and Human Relations welcomes scholarly manuscripts in the form of original research articles, conceptual studies, and academic reviews that are relevant to the journal's focus and scope.

Manuscripts must be original works, have not been previously published, and must not be under review or consideration for publication in another journal.

2. Language

Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian using clear, systematic, and appropriate academic language.

3. Article Structure

Research articles are generally expected to include the following sections:

  • Title
  • Author Name and Affiliation
  • Author Email
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Research Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

The structure may be adjusted according to the characteristics and research approach of the manuscript.

4. Title

The title should be concise, clear, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. Uncommon abbreviations should be avoided.

5. Abstract

The abstract should briefly present the background, objectives, methodology, main findings, and conclusion of the study. It should be concise and informative.

6. Keywords

Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript.

7. References

Authors must use relevant and scholarly references. References should be presented consistently according to the citation style adopted by the journal. Authors are encouraged to use recent scholarly sources and articles from reputable academic journals.

8. Originality and Plagiarism

Authors are responsible for the originality of their manuscripts. Manuscripts must not contain plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct. The journal may conduct a similarity check as part of the editorial process.

9. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform of INSORA. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all author information, affiliations, manuscript files, and supporting documents are completed and submitted accurately.

10. Publication Fees

INSORA does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication.

11. Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and may subsequently be sent for peer review. Publication decisions are based on the manuscript's academic quality, relevance, originality, and conformity with the journal's focus and scope.
